New sessions will take place in Term 1 as we build our relationships with home school families.

Meeting twice a term at Seven Mile Beach National Park each session has a curriculum focus delivered through nature play, engaging activities and take home activities. The small group focuses on individual interests, needs and learning styles.

Parents/ carers stay with their child/ren during the session, gather ideas and collaborate with other families.

The Term 1 sessions are facilitated by Dr Amanda Lloyd, one of Australia’s leading outdoor learning experts. Come along for a new take on the primary school curriculum, a chance to develop your skills as a home educator as you learn from Amanda and of course most importantly a productive session for your child/ren.

  • Geography Fieldwork: Scavenger hunts, using fieldwork tools, bushwalking and nature maps.
  • English Imagination: Immersion in Australian stories through imaginative story play, creating story settings and engaging activities.
