“There might be something down there….”

I love this piece of writing. If you’ve not encountered Richard Louv before, this is a lovely introduction to his insightful writing. His passion for nature connection underpins his writing, career, life…

We would love to see education done a bit differently. More time outside, meaningful connection, deeper understanding of the natural world around us so our kids can truly understand themselves and their place in the world. This article supports that approach. It’s not about ditching formal learning, just allowing kids more time to be disconnected from technology and more connected to the nature that they need. Then they will learn not only through the guidance of their teachers but through their own enquiry and exploration, imaginations and curiosity switched on, creativity flowing, ready to learn as we did for millennia.

Read on and let Richard Louv convince you.
