Outdoor Connections – taking a break

Thank you to all our Outdoor Connections supporters. We are very happy to have met so many wonderful people in the holiday activities, teacher training, pre-school programs, homeschool sessions, girls hike, courses for mums and Bush Kinder programs. We are very proud of our contribution connecting people to the outdoors over the last 2 years. Its been fun, enjoyable and rewarding!

We are currently taking a break from Outdoor Connections to pursue other creative and outdoor opportunities. In 2019, Amanda will take on the role of Executive Officer of Outdoors NSW representing the outdoors community, while Penny will continue working as an art educator at the Bundanon Trust and in pursing her own arts practice.

Thank you to our staff Matt and Jess, you taught us so much. Your enthusiasm for the outdoors will continue to be of huge benefit to those you work with. We are so happy to have had you on our team.

To the wider community who have shared and promoted our business over the last few years we appreciate all you have done – Maggie Dent, Educated by Nature, Outdoors NSW, Parents Guide Illawarra and so many more.

We will see you outside! If you see us come and say hi!

Penny and Amanda

We recognise the D’harawal peopleย  as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this Land. We pay tribute to the connection between the D’harawal people past, present and future.

We use the D’harawal or Cabbage Tree Palm in our logo to show our own connection to place. We reflect on the resilience of these rainforest remnants still standing through all the changes that have occurred in the landscape since European settlement.
